Job description

Key Responsibilities

Operate sandblasting and abrasive blasting equipment safely and efficiently Prepare steel and other metal surfaces for coating or painting Remove rust, paint, scale, dirt, and other surface contaminants Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met Set up and maintain blasting equipment, hoses, nozzles, and related tools Follow all A.

H. Beck safety procedures and wear required PPE Maintain clean and organized work area Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues Assist with other yard and shop duties as needed Work Saturdays as needed Requirements: Previous sandblasting or abrasive blasting experience preferred Experience with operating equipment such as skid steers, loaders, and telehandlers is a plus Basic knowledge of industrial air compressors Ability to safely operate blasting equipment Strong attention to detail Dependable and able to work independently Ability to work outdoors and in dusty/heavy industrial environments Ability to lift and move materials as required Must be safety-minded and willing to follow company procedures Benefits: Full-time, steady work Overtime opportunities Training provided for qualified candidates Safe and professional work environment 401k retirement plan Insurance-medical, dental, life, vision Short and long-term disability Vacation and Paid Holidays Work Location: Hourly position based in Converse, TX.
