Independent definition and implementation of a global strategy for Commodity Groups 6 (Raw Materials) and 7 (Machined Parts), as well as functional leadership of strategic sourcing activities worldwide Proactive analysis and optimization of the assigned commodity group, acting as a specialist for innovative trends and market developments Responsibility for designing and maintaining a stable, cost-efficient supply chain and supplier network Alignment of purchasing objectives with internal stakeholders to identify and realize cost-saving opportunities Ensuring successful project execution in cooperation with other purchasing departments Establishing and further developing supplier relationships.

Serving as the key interface for communication with international suppliers What we are looking for: Completed degree with a business-related qualification Extensive expertise in strategic procurement within the mechanical engineering industry or in the sourcing of custom applications and complex products Strong technical understanding and proven ability to work with technical specifications and engineering drawings In-depth knowledge of steel, castings, and materials engineering Strong affinity for working with international stakeholders and suppliers, particularly in Asia, Southern Europe, and Eastern Europe Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, as well as proficient in standard software applications (SAP R/3, MS Office) Strong negotiation skills combined with a professional, confident, and persuasive manner Team-oriented, highly committed, creative, proactive, and willing to travel All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
