Business Loan Servicing Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides administrative, documentation, processing, and servicing support for the Business Lending team and other lending functions as needed. Delivers professional, high-quality service to internal and external members, clients, and team members. Supports loan officers and credit analysts throughout the lending process, including loan origination, underwriting, processing, closing, and servicing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

AND DUTIES Provide effective support for all phases of business loan processing and servicing. Prepare business loan documents for processing in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements using Laser. Pro. Prepare and distribute the monthly Laser. Pro/Finastra activity report. Assist with verifying the due diligence required to close business loans.

Support ongoing loan servicing and account follow-up including; rate changes, insurance and collateral tracking, tax monitoring, covenant tracking, site visit tracking, member/client inquiries, loan system maintenance, and other duties as needed. Review business loan files to ensure compliance with applicable internal policies, procedures, external requirements, and regulations.

Review of new business loan documents for compliance. Ensure all mortgages are recorded and UCCs are filed in a timely manner. Maintain the proper order and sequence of loan files for document imaging. Follow up with loan officers regarding document or loan exceptions. Assist with HMDA reporting. Assist with the processing and due diligence of business loan modifications.

Assist with booking new business loans in CBX. Record minutes for Business Loan Committee meetings. Support Everence Association church loan processing and servicing. Assist with verifying the due diligence required to close church loans. Prepare church loan documents for processing in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements using Laser.

Pro. Book church loans in Precision LM. Serve as backup support for the church loan servicing team. Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships and clear communication with internal teams, external members, and clients. Perform related duties and complete special projects assigned. Keep work area(s) clean, secure, and well-maintained.

Provide support to the Loan Servicing Manager as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent Experience : 2 years loan servicing experience preferred Skills and Abilities : Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills Excellent communication and public relations skills Thorough understanding of lending and deposit programs, policies, and procedures, as well as related legal requirements Solid math and strong technology/computer skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to analyze accounts and loan requests Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to assist others and collaborate effectively as part of a team Problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to maintain an effective and efficient workflow Professionalism, honesty, integrity, and active listening skills to build rapport and effective relationships Adaptability to change workflows to remain productive during fast-paced periods Alignment in supporting the Everence mission of empowering financial well-being for faith-inspired living SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None SCHEDULE: Full-time
