Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks
• Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and safety
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies and ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Develop and implement new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to foster skill development and teamwork
• Oversee food preparation during service to ensure efficiency and consistency Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
• Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Creativity and passion for culinary arts
