  • Good Position Scope & Purpose Quality Inspector – Tool Room is responsible for inspecting precision components, molds, jigs, fixtures, and other tooling to ensure they meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role involves dimensional inspection, documentation, and supporting continuous quality improvement Equipment Used All conventional measuring instrument (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer. Etc) & CMM, VMS, VMM Key Accountabilities/Essential Functions Inspect tooling elements, electrodes, fixtures, gauges, and machined components as per engineering drawings and specifications. Perform dimensional inspection using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial indicators, and CMM (if available). Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and calibration documentation. Coordinate with design engineers and toolroom engineers for clarification on requirements Co-ordinating with machine shop for day to day measuring inserts & electrode & re-works. Other Position Duties Maintaining log & update report for daily/monthly utilization of the machine. Technical/Functional Skill Sets Ability to read engineering drawings. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques, CMM, VMS & VMM(optional), (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer. Etc) Basic understanding of machining processes such as milling, turning, grinding, EDM, and wire-cut EDM. Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint). Personal Qualities/Characteristics required for the position Good communication skills. Good vision of eye sight. Teamwork and coordination skills Willing to work rotating shifts.
