Service Cashier

Job Details: Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Full Time (3 day workweek), Job Category: Customer Service, Occupational Summary: Responsible for greeting and handling of customers during their service visit. The cashier receives payment from customers and employees in exchange for goods or services sold.

S/he is sometimes the customer’s last contact with the dealership and therefore must represent the dealership in a friendly, professional manner. Essential Job Functions: Promptly greet and welcome all customers as they enter the service department/drive. Maintain the cleanliness and amenities of the Customer Service Lounge.

Maintain frequent contact with any service customer that is waiting in the building. Ensure that they are updated on the status of their vehicle and that they are comfortable. Handle minor customer complaints/misunderstandings with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy. Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.

Fully support the Service Team in delivering an excelling customer service experience. Verify the cash drawer at the end of every shift. Maintain a continuously updated service scheduling form (route sheet) Properly maintain loaner vehicle program. Sort and file any repair orders from previous days’ business. Dispatch valet or retrieve vehicle to deliver to guest on the service drive Explain the service follow-up and sell the importance of the survey to the customer.

Schedule: 2 different schedules at different stores - 3 day schedule: This position is a 3 day shift, 7:30AM until 9:00PM, that rotates every 4 weeks. Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday for 4 weeks then Thursday/Friday/Saturday for 4 weeks - 5 day schedule: Monday
