JOB SUMMARY
The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading Tri. Net's applications and technology environment. The position will orchestrate work on highly scalable web applications used by thousands of customers on Tri. Net's private and public cloud. Manager will be leading engineering team that include Developers, Automation engineers, and Solution Architects.
I n this role, you will regularly interact with Senior Leadership across the company and drive technology and application vision along with roadmap for services owned, ensuring alignment with s tandard methodologies as well as striving for continuous improvements in operational and engineering excellence. This is a hands-on Technical Manager role, providing a great opportunity to deliver an innovative user experience using the latest technologies for Tri.
Net's Human Resource, Payroll and Benefits platform. Resolves barriers to effective cross functional teamwork quickly and effectively Collaborate with product managers, and other business stakeholders to deliver product capabilities on-time, on-scope and on-quality Required for All Job Performs other duties as assigned Education Details Required/Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Electrical /Electronic Engineering or related field or equivalent experience Work Experience Details Required Typically 8+ years hands-on experience of web application development with Python or JavaScript, and database technologies Typically 2+ years leadership experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Hands-on experience leading an engineering team(s) responsible for highly scalable applications Experience with capacity planning - drive an understanding of capacity needs based on our business drivers Technical ability to understand the software development lifecycle Strong presentation skills and executive presence Experience with quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills Experience developing and managing applications on public cloud technologies like AWS Demonstrated experience as an excellent problem solver with deep hands-on technical expertise leading highly scalable applications Work Environment: Work in a clean, pleasant, and comfortable office work setting.
