Patient Service Representative - Medical Assistant

Duties: Assist Nurse Practitioners with providing patient care Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, medication refills, triaging faxes Record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and pulse Create new patient charts Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation Knowledge of medical office procedures and equipment Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Flexible schedule On-the-job training Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Medical Specialty: Geriatrics Primary Care Schedule: Monday
