We are seeking a dedicated, proactive, and experienced Assistant Security Manager to support the overall safety and security operations of our resort, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests, team members, and property assets. The role involves overseeing daily security operations, implementing security procedures, managing incidents and emergencies, supervising security personnel, and coordinating with relevant authorities.

We are looking for a responsible, experienced, and service-oriented Assistant Security Manager to support the effective management of our resort's security operations. In this role, you will oversee daily security activities, ensure compliance with established security procedures, safeguard guests, team members, and resort assets, and coordinate incident investigations and emergency responses.

You will also supervise and develop the security team, conduct regular briefings and training, oversee contractor and vendor security, maintain effective key control, and coordinate with local security authorities. Working closely with the Security Manager and other departments, you will contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and secure resort environment while upholding Avani's service standards.

Key Requirements Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial security role, preferably within the hospitality or resort industry. Strong knowledge of security operations, safety procedures, incident management, and emergency response protocols. Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and train security personnel effectively.

Good understanding of fire safety, emergency evacuation procedures, and crisis management. Ability to conduct security investigations, prepare incident reports, and handle sensitive situations professionally. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-oriented approach.

Ability to coordinate effectively with local authorities, contractors, vendors, and internal departments. High level of integrity, confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and respond to emergencies as required.
