Security Guard / Unarmed

Dynamic Integrated Security is looking for a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to support security operations at an educational facility in North Charleston, South Carolina. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a school environment and understands the importance of maintaining a professional, approachable, and attentive presence.

The officer will help protect students, employees, and visitors while supporting established campus safety procedures.

What You'll Do

• Patrol designated areas of the campus and remain attentive to unusual activity or safety concerns.
• Monitor building entrances, exits, hallways, and other assigned areas.
• Assist with visitor check-in and access control procedures.
• Help maintain an orderly and secure environment throughout the school day.
• Respond appropriately to security or safety-related situations and notify the appropriate personnel when necessary.
• Complete incident reports and other required documentation accurately.
• Communicate professionally with school employees, students, visitors, and security management.
• Follow all site-specific policies, emergency procedures, and security protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current SLED Unarmed Security Officer Registration.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of a required background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Good situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain on your feet, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Additional Experience That Is a Plus
• Previous security experience in a school, campus, or educational environment.
• Experience working around children or young adults.
• Background in access control, customer service, or public-facing security roles.
• Current CPR / First Aid certification.
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish. Position Details
