Position: Assistant or Associate Professor Faculty Position in Finance Faculty Unit: Business and Government Program: Business Management Closing Date: Review of applications will begin September 15, 2026 Job Type: Full-time Job Category: Faculty Status: Open Qualifications: A master’s degree or a PhD in a relevant business area is required.

Foreign equivalent degree from a nationally accredited institution accepted. As an educational institution affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Church), BYU–Hawaii prefers to hire qualified members of the Church in good standing, as authorized under 41 C.F.R. § 60-1.5 (a)(6). To be eligible for employment, applicants who are members of the Church must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend and receive a clearance from the Church’s Ecclesiastical Clearance Office .

Responsibilities

Teaching requirement is typically 30 semester credit hours per year over three semesters in some (but not necessarily all) of the following subject areas/courses: Business finance, risk management, financial modeling Scholarship, creative endeavor, ongoing professional development, and university service are required.

Benefits

Salary range: 113K to 135K Housing stipend. A r e l o cat i o n e x p e n s e p ac k a g e is p r ov i d e d .
