MEMS Design Engineer - Acoustics

An exciting company in the San Francisco Bay Area, is looking for a Senior Acoustic Design Engineer to evolve design efforts on a ground breaking MEMS healthcare product that they currently have in the healthcare market.

Responsibilities

• Electromechanical and acoustic design, modeling, simulation of MEMS devices
• Characterization of devices to refine models and prove out designs
• Detailed modeling of MEMS device to understand behavior and improve performance, yield, reliability, etc.

Required Skills

• M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
• Industry experience with acoustic designs
• Experience using FEM to model MEMS devices
• Understanding of piezoelectric thin films and tensors
• Experience using Matlab to create models of product behavior
• Experience modeling acoustic devices using various mathematical methods including COM, P-Matrix, and Green’s function
