EA Operations Manager
Job description
JOB OVERVIEW: Our multinational client is establishing a Digital Centre of Excellence DCOE in Limerick. Already hired their Lead for the Limerick site, they now require and experienced EA/Operations Manager . This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
The candidate will gain unique exposure to the workings of an internal start-up and will develop professionally through hands-on experience in an entrepreneurial environment and by working directly with the management team. We are looking for team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, enjoys wearing different hats, takes on tasks independently, exercises judgment, and solves problems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide business support to the site lead, including preparing agendas, briefing packs, drafting internal and external communications, presentations, and other documents. Ensure follow-up actions are progressed Act as deputy in scheduled meetings including hiring updates, travel and overhead cost management, Town Hall preparations and asks from senior management.
As part of the onboarding team with HR and IT; prepare, plan and onboard for all new starters. Partner with the Finance and HR teams on activities related to the operations of the site. Develop internal communication to support business initiatives and ensure effective adoption of related processes and procedures. Build and maintain effective working relationships both within the business and externally.
Run the site management system (Management Meetings, HR, Finance, Training, Recruitment, etc) prepare weekly/monthly reports including data collection, formatting, preliminary analysis and preparation of recommendations. Plan on- and/or off-site activities, including social events, workshops, and executive stakeholder meetings.
Extensive and complex calendar and diary management including coordinating schedules and meetings ensuring the calendar and diary are prioritised according to changing demands. Assist with management of social media channels, as well as site marketing and PR. GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Cross-cultural sensitivity and experience working in a matrix organisation Well organised, meticulous attention to detail Professional relationship building skills Strong time-management skills and the ability to coordinate and prioritise multiple projects at once and deliver to agreed deadlines Ability to work under pressure, often with tight timescales and with a limited brief Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment Self-motivated, adaptable, and creative team player, with a deep desire to learn new skills Acutely aware of the importance of maintaining confidentiality & the use of discretion Previous experience within a Global organisation desired ABOUT YOU: At least 5 years’ experience or equivalent in a similar role Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in a previous role BENEFITS: Excellent base salary 5% Pension Contribution Annual Bonus 25 Days Annual Leave Hybrid Working Terms
