CNC Setup- South Plant 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the setup of CNC machine tools, changing inserts, bars, collets, jaws and setting up automation. Adjust the cutting insert as necessary during operation. Act properly and timely when nonconforming process or product is detected to problem solve resolution to issue. Effectively communicate job-related information.

Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple setups of machines and pay close attention to details. Ability to read, comprehend and follow blueprints. Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions. Understand 2 axis coordinate system. Ability to read, comprehend and follow complicated arithmetic, geometric and algebraic calculations.

Skilled in the use of comparators, digital micrometers, drop gages, etc.
