JOB SUMMARY

The Regulatory Compliance Specialist is responsible for the administration, audit, training, and continuous improvement of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Dangerous Goods (DG), and related regulatory programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

& RESPONSIBILITIES: Administer and Oversee TSA and DG compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulations and company standards. Evaluate compliance issues, determine corrective actions, and recommend solutions. Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, training materials, and awareness communications. Serve as the regulatory subject matter expert and support resolution of compliance inquiries.

Lead audits, assessments, and compliance reviews to validate program effectiveness. Manage regulatory records, reporting, and documentation requirements. Support regulatory compliance with new business, customer onboarding, and operational changes. Prepare and communicate compliance KPIs, metrics, and management reports.

Foster a culture of compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Perform any other duties and tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION

College degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 2-3 years of experience in TSA, Dangerous Goods, IATA, DOT, or regulatory administration REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attentive to detail and accurate in the execution of tasks Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demands are mostly consistent with a professional office setting. Regular sitting at workstation for 25 – 75% of the work shift. Frequent standing and walking.
