Customer Support Specialist - Kyle, TX

JOB SUMMARY

Perform various functions which primarily involves inventory planning, forecasting, and ordering cylinder packages to ensure a smooth material flow to the end customer.

Essential Functions

• Generate transfer orders based on customer forecasts, current inventory levels, and established lead times
• Work with cross-functional teams, taking the lead to ensure timely deliveries
• Coordinate emergency situations with major accounts, Emergency Response Team and Matheson Safety Personnel
• Provide weekly inventory reports for major accounts
• Attend weekly Production Meetings
• Adhere to all Quality System Policies and Procedures Customer interaction:
• Handle day to day and escalated customer in quiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction Team collaboration :
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and concern s Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer interactions
• Track customer inquiries and complaints, maintaining records until resolution
• Maintain all documentation requirements for Site ISO 9001:2015 certification Safety :
• Keep work area clean and orderly, follows all company procedures and safety policies
• Track customer inquiries and complaints maintaining records until resolution
• Actively participate in Daily Toolbox Talk Required for All Jobs
• Performs other duties as assigned
