We’re currently looking for an Industrial Machinery Painter to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. What You’ll Do: As an Industrial Machinery Painter, you'll be responsible for the painting company vehicles and equipment, ensuring that your equpiment and supplies are prepared for a variety of surfaces, and that everything runs smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Painting equipment and vehicles Cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that it is in working order Possessing a wide array of painting tools, including thin and thick brushes, airbrushes and pneumatic paint sprayers Safely disposing of chemical waste Ensuring that high safety standards are met Utilizing different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface Utilizing special safety equipment such as painting goggles, respirators, and applicable personal protective equipment Using viscosity cups and thickness gauges to measure the amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paint Removing previous paint surfaces using masking or a chemical rinse Painting small items and doing touch-ups Ensuring proper ventilation after paint is applied Utilizing electroplating equipment to coat metal Polishing metallic surfaces Painting over woods and plastics What You’ll Need: High school diploma or equivalent Experience painting a variety of surface types Proficiency with technical machinery Physical strength to operate machinery Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability Strong communication and customer service skills Vocational or trade school certification or experience a plus What We Offer: Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance Company-paid Life Insurance & Short-Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off DFW Movers & Erectors, Inc.
