• Hodgenville, KY, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: Not Specified, Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Manufacturing, Position Summary: The Janitor is responsible for general cleaning throughout the office and plant and keeping the facility maintained and in good condition. Position Description: Daily cleaning and sweeping around the plant Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors Clean and maintain restrooms Empty trash and recycling bins Basic building maintenance and inspections as needed Contact various local firms for regular building maintenance Setting and disarming building alarms Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions Any other duties as assigned or needed Essential Functions/Physical Demands: Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Infrequent standing and walking. Constant sitting. Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent talking.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: General knowledge of building maintenance Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Ability to walk the plant throughout the day cleaning and sweeping Specialized sewing equipment maintenance is a plus Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of janitorial experience and or building maintenance Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds Good organization skills Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners Excellent time-management skills
