POSITION DESCRIPTION The NC Programmer plans machining sequences and designs fixtures for 3-5 axis machine tools.
Responsibilities include
determining cutting methods for various materials, creating tool paths with Unigraphics CAD/CAM software, collaborating with process engineers, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9000 standards. The role also involves verifying tool paths, supporting machinists, and utilizing knowledge of G-Code, machine offsets, and part locating. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
