Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, culinary arts, and kitchen operations. This role involves preparing and serving meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

The Cook will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining high-quality food presentation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble meals according to menu specifications, including meal planning and portioning Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating for various dining settings, including fine dining and catering events Handle food safely, adhering to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards Serve food to guests in a professional and courteous manner Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and equipment sanitation Assist with menu development and ingredient sourcing as needed Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple tasks efficiently Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times Contribute to inventory management and stock rotation Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within restaurants or catering environments is highly desirable Familiarity with menu planning, fine dining standards, and culinary techniques such as knife skills is advantageous Background in the food industry or kitchen experience demonstrating knowledge of food safety practices is beneficial Experience with meal preparation, serving, or catering roles will be considered an asset This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic culinary environment where professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for food are valued.
