PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER

The Sun Prairie YMCA is looking for a professional, detailed oriented Preschool Lead Teacher for our One Year Old Classroom that will create a fun and interactive environment in their classroom. Job Responsibilities

Create fun and interactive learning experiences while serving as mentors to fellow Teachers. Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and company standards. Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child. Maintains proper records/department files.

Trains, provides guidance to and directs preschool assistant teachers and volunteers as needed. Manages emergencies, unusual circumstances and behavior. Creates a supportive and uplifting work environment. FREE YMCA Membership! Job Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age High School diploma or equivalent Lead Teacher classification recognized by Wisconsin State Licensing requirements. Level 12 or higher on the WI Registry Knowledge of general child growth and development, learning, and developmentally appropriate activities for children required.

Requires ability to effectively interact with, lead, and motivate members who have a variety of abilities and needs.
