Maintain driver log according to government regulations.

Operate tractor/trailer, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations. Obtain necessary signatures on delivery tickets and product returns, following company guidelines. Return completed paperwork to dispatcher upon return to worksite. Inspect materials to make sure they are loaded correctly. Review and verify shipping document information to ensure accuracy of deliveries.

Collect payment for COD deliveries. Ensure deliveries are “on time” per schedule; immediately report any delays to dispatcher. Deliver materials to customer location. Report unsafe conditions, use equipment properly, handle materials safely, and maintain awareness of DOT safety regulations. All other duties as assigned.
