Enrolled Nurse

This frontline support role provides essential support enabling the development and delivery of frontline services, programs and outcomes.We're excited to welcome a Enrolled Nurse to Women's and Children's Services.The Child and Adolescent Unit is a 20-bed paediatric inpatient service providing care to children and young people aged 0–18 years.

The unit supports a diverse range of medical, surgical and complex healthcare needs, with a strong focus on family-centred care, collaboration and positive patient outcomes.Sunshine Coast Health is a values-based organisation. We respect, protect and promote human rights in our decision-making and actions.Key Responsibilities include:Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.

Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour.

Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.Salary rates: $38.11 - $40.45 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 3) (Permanent Part-Time position, 16 hrs p.
