Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist (QBHS)

• Community Based Louisiana Empowerment is seeking a dedicated and proactive Qualified Behavioral Health Specialist to join our Ohio Field Staff. We are looking to fill this position for an immediate start. Must have current Medicaid# and NPI# Position Overview: 100% Community-Based This is a strictly community-based position . Service delivery takes place entirely within the community, including client homes, schools, and local environments. There is no traditional office requirement for service delivery; you will meet your clients where they are to provide the most effective, real-world support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide behavioral health interventions and skill-building exercises in natural community settings. Immediate Caseload Management: Be prepared to transition quickly into active community engagement with clients. Goal-Oriented Care: Implement individualized service plans focused on emotional regulation and social competencies.

Collaborative Advocacy: Work closely with families and community stakeholders to coordinate care. Mobile Documentation: Utilize our electronic health record system to maintain timely, accurate clinical notes from the field.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED required (Degree in social work/psychology preferred). 3 years Experience in behavioral health is required Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance for daily travel throughout the Parma area. Independence: Ability to manage a schedule and work effectively without direct on-site supervision.

Urgency: Ready to complete onboarding and begin community visits immediately.

Compensation

& Benefits Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (DOE). Schedule: Part-Time Impact: Direct, meaningful work that changes lives in your local community.
