Companies is seeking a Property Manager I to join our team at Alamito Terrace , a 76-unit multifamily affordable residential community located in El Paso, TX. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations, leasing, financial performance, maintenance, and compliance of the community while delivering exceptional resident service.
The ideal candidate has experience in property management, multifamily housing, leasing, resident relations, and team leadership, and is committed to maintaining a high-performing, well-managed community. The hourly pay rate for this role is $19.00 per hour. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM MST with the ability to work weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of a multifamily residential community, ensuring strong occupancy, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Oversee leasing activities, including marketing, rental applications, move-ins, move-outs, recertifications, renewals, and rent increases. Drive occupancy, rent collections, resident retention, and revenue goals.
Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reports, purchase orders, invoices, and monthly variance reporting. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, LIHTC, HUD, and affordable housing program requirements, where applicable. Partner with maintenance teams to maintain the property, preserve assets, and ensure completion of preventive maintenance programs.
Lead, train, and develop site team members while promoting a positive, customer-focused culture.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1-3 years of experience in property management, multifamily housing, leasing, or residential operations. Bilingual in English and Spanish Previous supervisory, team lead, leadership, or employee development experience. Knowledge of property management operations and landlord-tenant laws.
Experience using Microsoft Office and web-based business applications. Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with diverse residents, colleagues, and vendors. Strong attention to detail and financial accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field. Experience with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, or other affordable housing programs. Experience with Yardi, Real. Page, or other property management software. Knowledge of leasing, marketing, resident retention, and occupancy strategies. Professional certifications such as CAM, ARM, RAM, SHCM, NAHP-CPL, CGPM, C3P, or equivalent.
