Maintenance Technician

$24–$28/hour + $1,500 Sign-On Bonus | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm | Madison, WI

What You'll Do

• Handle a wide variety of household repairs in occupied apartments
• Get apartments ready for new residents
• Complete preventative maintenance and property checklists
• Provide responsive and exceptional customer service
• Treat residents' homes, belongings and privacy with respect
• Join the on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergencies, typically two days every 2–2.5 weeks

What You Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in maintenance, the trades or facilities
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• A customer-service mindset, patience and pride in your work
• Comfortable working on your own or as part of a team
• Your own hand tools

Nice to Have

• Any specialized skills or certifications

Each technician has a home location and may rotate during the year:

• Madison West / Middleton
• Campus Area/Downtown Madison
• Stoughton/Oregon
