General Medicine Physician We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated General Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will manage a wide spectrum of adult medical conditions, provide preventive care, and coordinate with specialists to ensure comprehensive patient management. Strong diagnostic skills and a patient-centered approach are essential.
Qualifications
● Medical degree (MBBS, MD/DNB in General Medicine) from an accredited institution. ● Board certification in Internal Medicine or equivalent. ● Valid medical license to practice in [Insert State/Region]. ● Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving ability. ● Strong communication and patient management skills.
Key Responsibilities
● Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with a range of acute and chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, infections, respiratory diseases). ● Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, including regular follow-up. ● Order and interpret lab tests, imaging, and other diagnostic procedures. ● Formulate treatment plans and adjust medications based on clinical progress.
● Coordinate with subspecialists for referrals and multidisciplinary care. ● Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and medication adherence. ● Maintain thorough and timely documentation using EHR systems. ● Respond to medical emergencies and participate in on-call rotations. ● Stay updated with current guidelines, protocols, and advancements in internal medicine.
Preferred Skills
● Experience managing complex, multi-system diseases. ● Exposure to ICU or critical care is an added advantage. ● Proficiency with EHR systems. ● Experience in academic or teaching roles is a plus. ● Bilingual communication skills are beneficial.
