Toolmaker II - 1st Shift
Job description
The Toolmaker II is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Additionally, they may also fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. The Toolmaker II position requires knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures, and 5-7 years of machining experience.
Employees must possess the ability to program various machines in the designated area. Working both independently and in a team environment, the Toolmaker II will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality.
