Journeyman Outside Machinist

The Journeyman Outside Machinist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, overhaul, alignment, and testing of mechanical equipment and machinery onboard marine vessels and within shipyard facilities. This position performs precision mechanical work on propulsion systems, pumps, valves, piping systems, bearings, turbines, compressors, and auxiliary equipment in support of ship repair and modernization projects.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to work independently, and adherence to all safety and quality standards.
