Podiatry Registered Nurse

The Podiatry Support Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical and operational support for podiatry services within CCM Health's Rural Health Clinic. The RN works primarily alongside the podiatry physician during scheduled clinic days, assisting with patient care, procedures, routine nail care, would care, patient education, and clinical documentation. The RN also dedicates time each week to coordinating podiatry services, managing patient scheduling and follow-up, maintaining supplies, and supporting continuity of care. When appropriate, the RN may provide independent nursing visits for established patients requiring wound assessments, dressing changes, or other routine nail and would care services within the RN's scope of practice, demonstrated competency, and established protocols.
