Facility Housekeeper/Laundry Aide-Chosen Healthcare Job Summary: The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide is responsible for performing all functions necessary to maintain a clean, homelike environment in the Facility, and laundering Resident clothing and Facility linens and other items. Description: Under the supervision of the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor the Housekeeper/Laundry Aide is responsible for day-to-day and deep cleaning activities and laundry throughout the Facility, in accordance with State & Federal regulations and Facility policy/procedures.

Housekeeping/Laundry Aides may be assigned solely to Housekeeping tasks, Laundry tasks or a combination. The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide participates in the scheduled supervision of Resident smoke breaks.

Qualifications

Less than high school education or up to one (1) month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education & experience; Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check; Satisfactory personal & professional references. PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check Successfully complete a drug screening Must have received, or be willing to receive, the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire.
