Job Summary
This role is responsible for the application of chemicals, pesticides, and chemical fertilizers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with aerifications Apply seed to designated areas Sand topdressing applications Education and Experience: Experience with chemical or spray applications Chemical fertilization or pesticide industry application experience Post-secondary education in turf science or a related field Must obtain and maintain a state-sanctioned pesticide applicator license within 6 months of entry into this job Maintain a valid Driver’s License Strong attention to detail Operate efficiently and safely at all times Ability to prioritize daily work schedule based on minimal supervision Ability to perform other cultural applications on the golf course as needed Physical Demands/Requirements: Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds Regular exposure to the outside environment, including rain, cold, sun, or night Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping Work Environment: The position primarily works outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures, weather conditions, and noise levels.
