Appian Analyst - OBP Mortgages

Must Have Skills: Knowledge & Experience Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline. 6+ years of experience in enterprise application delivery, workflow automation, digital transformation, or low-code platform development. Proven experience delivering complex Appian solutions across one or more domains: Banking and Financial Services Lending and Mortgages Deposits and Transaction Banking Customer Onboarding and Servicing Risk and Compliance Operations and Workflow Management Key Responsibilities Must have Domain expertise is critical.

A Senior Appian Analyst is expected not only to possess strong Appian technical capabilities but also to provide subject matter expertise, design guidance, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and delivery teams. Strong understanding of Appian architecture, application design patterns, scalability considerations, performance optimization, and platform best practices.

Extensive hands-on experience with: SAIL Interfaces Records and Record Actions Process Models Integration Objects Data Fabric Document Management Sites and Portals Appian Administration and Security Strong technical capabilities across: Appian Development SQL and Database Design REST and SOAP Integrations JSON/XML Payload Processing Enterprise Authentication and Authorization Frameworks Experience integrating Appian with enterprise applications such as CRM, ECM, Core Banking, Identity Management, Data Platforms, and cloud-based services.

Strong business analysis and solution design skills, including requirements elicitation, process modelling, stakeholder workshops, and solution documentation. Ability to identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, operational efficiency, and improved customer experience through Appian solutions. Strong understanding of enterprise data management, governance, security, and compliance requirements.

Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, and operational teams. Demonstrated leadership in guiding analysts and developers through solution design, estimation, implementation, and production support activities. Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to balance business outcomes, technical constraints, and delivery timelines.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical and architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Appian Certified Analyst, Senior Developer, Lead Developer, or Architect certifications are highly desirable.
