Automotive Service Advisor

Description Greet customers promptly and professionally in the service drive Accurately write repair orders (ROs) with detailed customer concerns Present maintenance menus and recommended repairs Effectively overcome objections and close service recommendations Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the repair process Monitor repair progress and coordinate with technicians and parts department Ensure proper documentation for warranty and customer pay repairs Review completed work with customers and ensure satisfaction Actively request surveys and maintain strong CSI performance Maintain a clean and accurate WIP with timely RO closure Follow dealership processes and manufacturer guidelines Requirements High school diploma or GED required 2+ years automotive service advisor experience preferred Ford dealership experience preferred Strong understanding of warranty processes and manufacturer guidelines Technical & Systems Knowledge Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds DMS preferred Knowledge of repair order flow, labor operations, and parts coordination Familiarity with menu selling and digital inspection tools (Xtime or similar a plus) Skills & Competencies Strong sales and closing ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Customer-focused with strong conflict resolution skills Driven to meet and exceed monthly labor and sales goals
