Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department (ED/ER) Location: Marrero, LA Facility: Acute care hospital – Emergency Department Job Type: Per Diem (PRN) Hourly Rate: $48.75 Shift: Days 6:45AM–7:15PM CT; Mid 10:45AM–11:15PM CT; Nights 6:45PM–7:15AM CT (orientation shifts Days 7:30AM–5:00PM CT) Duration: 12 hours Experience: 1+ year of Emergency Department RN experience License: Active and unencumbered Louisiana RN or compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Job Duties & Responsibilities: Rapidly assess, triage and prioritize patients based on acuity using emergency nursing protocols Provide emergency nursing care, including medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring and trauma response Collaborate with physicians and the care team on rapid interventions, codes and patient stabilization Accurately document care and follow infection control, patient safety and throughput protocols Requirements Must have 1+ year of Emergency Department RN experience Active and unencumbered Louisiana RN or compact license Active BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification Negative TB within last 12 months Hep B Series or Titer MMR Series or Titer Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer Varicella Series or Titer
