SUMMARY The Groundskeeping Supervisor ("Supervisor/a de Jardineria") will assist in the completion of the day-to-day activities, involving the maintenance/repair of the building facility, equipment, machinery including HVAC, building lighting systems, groundskeeping, plumbing, and electrical wiring, and fixtures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Mows grass, plows snow, waters lawns, feeds and trims shrubs, tends flower beds, and regularly inspects assigned work areas to ensure proper standards are maintained. Operates lawn and grounds equipment including power mowers, snowblowers, bucket loaders, and other power equipment. Repairs and maintains property walks and lots.

Plans, plants and maintains exterior and interior landscaping in accordance with the landscaping plan. Removes refuse and trash from grounds. Enforces safety regulations at the worksite. Maintains a small greenhouse. Prepares and maintains fields. Adjusts, cleans, and performs minor mechanical work on grounds equipment.

Recommends for purchase and suggests suitable locations for trees and shrubs. Requisitions, controls, and issues groundskeeping supplies. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training. A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement. Experience running shifts, scheduling, performance management, problem-solving, guest servicing and running day-to-day operations. Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc.

Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required. Ability to maintain a friendly, team-oriented, positive attitude and a professional appearance at all times. Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs. The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.
