Electrical Maintenance Technician Direct Hire | Superior Skilled Trades Location: Shelbyville, KY Pay: $27.00/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM Job Overview Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a company seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair industrial equipment, commercial laundry machinery, conveyor systems, pumps, and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair three-phase electrical systems and motor controls. Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on machinery, pumps, and conveyor systems. Inspect equipment and respond to maintenance calls within two minutes. Help maintain a plant uptime goal of 98% or higher. Document repairs and report major issues to the Chief Engineer and Production Manager.

Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work overtime as needed.

Requirements

Industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience. Knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and mechanical equipment. Excellent attendance, punctuality, and communication skills. Ability to climb ladders, stand and walk throughout the shift, and regularly lift over 50 pounds. Ability to work in a warm industrial environment and respond to equipment issues promptly.
