Pool Service Attendant

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To work as a team with colleagues in all departments, to ensure timely service and a smooth running operation. To understand and adhere to all hotel policies and Standard Operating Procedures with regard to guest service, how to run the operation, and personal discipline and grooming. To have a complete knowledge of the hotel facilities and services on offer to our guests.

Ensure that all activities are performed safely using proper safety techniques and have CPR and first aid knowledge. Must be able to swim. To take responsibility for the safety of all hotel guests while using pool area, with particular attention to the safety of children. To maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of the pool area, and to ensure pool furniture is arranged in a neat and tidy manner To ensure adequate pool towels are on hand for guest issue, and to collect and clear used towels to the Laundry To take responsibility for ensuring that all guests who require food and drinks are served as quickly as possible.

Responsible for upselling of food & beverages around the poolside area. Quick and discreet clearance of soiled dishes and glasses from the poolside area Attend training sessions as required. Ensure any issues relating to guest satisfaction are met and that all follow up is completed on a timely basis, Pre-empt and anticipate guest needs.
