• North Stonington, CT, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $25.00 - $38.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: Negligible, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Telecommunications, Position Summary: The Telecom Technician will participate in the installation or maintenance and inspection of telecommunication systems and associated processes. Role and Responsibilities: Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients Installs cable supports, through floor and wall sleeves, fire stopping materials Install relays, cabinets, network switches Terminates data, voice, coaxial, control, and fiber optic cables Install cable trays above and below floors Ability to work in small spaces Test cables to TIA/EIA level II standards with cable analyzer and fiber test equipment Qualifications: Essential Skills & Qualifications: Ability to work independently or as part of a team Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality Participate in site housekeeping Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner Perform additional duties as directed by Management At times may perform clerical/administrative duties Educational & Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or relevant work experience 2-5 years of field experience, trade school, or apprenticeship OSHA 10 certification As a 100% employee-owned company, A/Z Corporation is committed to supporting the well-being and financial success of its Team Members by offering a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, disability coverage, mental wellbeing services, a 401(k) retirement plan, profit-sharing opportunities, paid vacation and holidays, and other benefits for eligible Team Members.
