Your expertise will connect technology, clinical workflows, and the people who rely on these tools every day.In this meaningful role, you will develop and deliver training for off-the-shelf and customized end-user systems and software applications. Clinical applications may support patient registration, patient billing, clinical documentation in ambulatory settings, and applications used by specific medical specialties. You will build in-depth knowledge of assigned applications, policies, procedures, and related workflows while partnering with clinical and non-clinical users.Through classroom instruction, training in areas of practice, and virtual learning experiences, you will help colleagues strengthen their skills, confidence, and capability. Design and implement appropriate learning curriculum to meet business needs, including process design and solution adoption best practices.Conduct training and classroom-based coaching onsite and in virtual environments that build skill/competency, ability, and motivation.Assist with coordinating appropriate level of end-user training and the scheduling of Trainers and Super Users.Conduct training in specific application area(s) for all end-users.Assist with scenario-based training and technology competency assessments.Develop, implement and evaluate training and education programs for internal clients to promote growth, development, and adoption.Assist with the development of detailed curriculum content and training plans for designated area(s).Consult with and coordinate between leader, vendor, and client project leaders to identify capability gaps impacting current and future business strategies.Provide end-user feedback to colleagues and IT leaders to help identify improvement strategies for system design and implementation.Participate in the planning, coordination, and review of new or updated solutions and the work plans necessary to implement them.Interact as necessary with vendor training personnel.Escalate complex issues to appropriate entities for resolution.Participate as a member of a high-performance team of solution architects, project management, business analysis, quality assurance and organizational change management professionals.Actively participate in IT groups external to Legacy through industry seminars, workshops and training sessions if applicable.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or IT disciplines is required.Required Years of Experience. Three (3) years of experience conducting clinical applications analysis, analysis of clinical workflows system adoption strategies, and training and educating adult learners is required.Desirable Education and/or Experience. High school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years’ experience in healthcare operations and/or clinical IT roles may substitute for the required bachelor's level degree.Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent and five years of related experience is preferred.Super User or Trainer for Epic Ambulatory and/or Resolute PB (Professional Billing) is preferred.Previous experience in Clinical Software Implementations and/or Training.Project management experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities. Ability to travel to clinic sites up to 50% of work time.Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and internal and external colleagues.Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA regulations.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.Effective problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills. Ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks. Ability to prepare a presentation and present to an audience comprised of varying levels of leadership.Ability to manage a wide range of projects, large and small, along with a high volume of service requests.Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement, promote teamwork values, drive accountability, and establish ground rules. Ability to work collaboratively with other teams and departments.This job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion and secure information management. Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities. Bilingual / Spanish fluency.Knowledge and experience in implementing and supporting healthcare applications.Clinical informatics experience.Experience documenting workflows utilizing Microsoft Visio, Adobe and/or Office Timeline.About Legacy Community Health.
