Description Continuum of Colorado has an opening to be our next Regional Manager of Residential . As our Regional Manager of Residential , you oversee the day-to-day operations and direction of our residential sites that provides services to adults diagnosed with an intellectual and/or developmental disability, including managing a team of two supervisors who oversee around 20 DSPs who staff the sites.
The Regional Manager of Residential provides oversight to two homes and one apartment complex with several units, assuring the effective operation of programs that provide quality services to individuals according to each individual’s choice. This role assures health and safety of individuals through provision of quality services, and by ensuring follow through with established protocols and/or procedures.
This is a remote-hybrid position that offers flexibility, while still requiring regular in-person visits to our host homes, which are located in the Aurora and Castle Rock areas. We’re committed to a great work-life balance, with this full-time role offering 36 hours per week on a 4-day work week . Because the position includes occasional on-call responsibilities and requires travel between home locations, the ideal candidate will live within approximately 45 minutes of the Denver/Aurora metro area.

Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field preferred; commensurate experience in the Developmental Disabilities field may be considered/substituted Five (5) years of experience working with individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities or in a similar field is preferred Four (4) years management, including supervisory experience is preferred Working knowledge of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) rules and regulations preferred Work flexible hours, as needed Reside within 45-minutes of the Denver/Aurora metro area Ability to do on-site visits Ability to be on a rotating on-call schedule Valid Colorado driver's license and proof of auto insurance Reliable means of transportation other than mass transit Meet our driving requirements - have a license for the last three (3) years with no suspensions/revocations and no more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years We are committed to racial equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of our organization and our partnership with the IDD community.

Requirements

Health/dental/vision coverage Employer-paid and supplemental life insurance Short- and long-term disability insurance Generous paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) investment plan, with an employer match of up to 4% Mileage reimbursement Certified Employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Tuition reimbursement program Healthcare reimbursement and flexible spending plans Employee assistance program Employer-paid training Additional Responsibilities Assures agency policies and procedures are followed and state/federal regulatory guidelines are met as appropriate Ensures all regulations are met in regard to reportable incidents Independently problem-solves programmatic, individual and/or employee issues; makes sure Senior Director is kept up to date on critical decisions/issues Directs activities of Residential Supervisors (RS) who manage daily program operations; provides clear objectives and offers support as needed Ensures facilities are adequately staffed; assists RSs with recruitment, interviewing and hiring employees as appropriate; makes sure new employees receive required and adequate training Conduct interviews, make hiring decisions, and train new employees on job duties Coach employees, through modeling and training, to implement Person Centered Thinking strategies Ensure employees follow agency policies and procedures Assists the Senior Director with creating budgets for each facility Manages budgets and approves expenditures; makes sure team members are aware of budgetary goals and constraints Appropriately works with state regulatory agencies (HCPF, CDPHE, etc.)
in a positive manner; assists in the development of corrective actions and implements them timely and as requested Demonstrates ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals both within and outside the agency
