Planned Parenthood of Florida is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our talented Medical team on a contract basis, primarily supporting our Orlando Health Center in Orlando, Florida, with coverage at our Kissimmee Health Center as needed.

Important: This position requires a Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse as a condition of employment, pursuant to Chapters 408 and 435, Florida Statutes. https://ahca.myflorida.com/health-quality-assurance/bureau-of-central-services/background-screening/clearinghouse Snapshot of key accountabilities of the Physician: Provide comprehensive women’s health care, including gynecology, family planning, sexually transmitted disease treatment, and mid-life services.

Deliver surgical services, including medication and surgical terminations, in accordance with PPFL standards and guidelines. Serve as a liaison between the Chief Medical Officer and clinical staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Support staff development through training, orientation, and coaching.

Provide clinical leadership while supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Lead research initiatives and contribute to service expansion strategies. Ensure compliance with affiliate policies, industry regulations, and established quality standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate a commitment to excellent patient service.

Primarily provide Physician coverage at the East Orlando Health Center and provide coverage at the Kissimmee Health Center as needed . Experience/Education of the Physician: Board-Certified MD or DO with a current Florida State License. Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience in women’s health or family practice.

Prescriptive authority with current licensure. Proven leadership, communication, and coaching skills. Commitment to quality health care, patient confidentiality, and excellent service. Experience with colposcopies, LEEP procedures, and ultrasound services preferred. Familiarity with surgical and medication terminations preferred.

Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and local market condition This is a contract position and is not eligible for PPFL employee benefits.
