Position: Volleyball Coach
- Middle School Department: Middle School Athletics Location: CSG, Milton Academy Campus, Milton, MA Hours: Monday-Friday from 2:30-3:30 p.m., with game days happening on Wednesday and Friday afternoons (2:30-5:30 p.m.) FLSA: Exempt Classification: Staff
- Seasonal Position Stipend: $2000-3000/season based on experience Milton Academy is an independent college preparatory K�12 school, boarding and day in grades 9�12, located just outside of Boston. Daily practices run from 2:30 p.m.�3:30 p.m., and game days are scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays. The season begins on September 14 and concludes on November
- There are no weekend commitments. This is a seasonal position for the Fall 2026 school year. May be eligible for renewal depending on school needs.
Essential Functions
Organizing practices to help improve fundamental skills and motivating student-athletes. Traveling to and from home/away games with the team. Communicating with the Middle School Athletic Director throughout the season. Providing strategy, physical training, and techniques to help their student-athletes reach individual and team success.
Supervision to be received: Middle School Athletic Director Supervision to be exercised: None Education/Certification/Licensure Required: NA Preferred: NA Experience Required: NA Preferred: Experience coaching kids at the middle school level. Competencies Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external constituencies.
Understanding of confidentiality and related issues. Receptive to supervision and professional development. Desire to be a part of a dynamic educational community. Physical Abilities Required: Must be able to work at a computer for up to 8 hours each day in conjunction with OSHA requirements. Must be able to move around the Milton Academy campus without restriction.
