Molder

Summary: The primary function of the Molder is to accurately make molds using sand in the formation of a propeller, strut or rudder. Additionally, the molder will use patterns to make other parts.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Must be familiar with Matchplate and/or Loose Pattern molding Use sand to accurately make molds to customer standards Maintain proper housekeeping in and around work area Stay on task and hit their production goals each day Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be able to understand quality and safety standards Skills: Keen attention to detail Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent Physical Demands: Stand at work station Operate hilo/lift truck/bobcat/hoist Push/pull/lift up to 75 pounds Work environment: Employees move around the plant by walking, or driving.

There are times when the environment is hot or cold (depending on the season) due to overhead door being open. Must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment: Safety Glasses with side shields, hearing protection and steel-toed work shoes required. Supervisory responsibilities: None
