CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

Our client, an established engineering and manufacturing company based in Roodepoort, Gauteng, is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join its production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for CNC programming, machine setup and operation, ensuring the accurate manufacture of precision-engineered components in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards.

The role requires strong hands-on machining experience, proficiency in Mastercam, sound knowledge of G-codes, M-codes and T-codes, and the ability to independently manage machine setups, optimise machining parameters and maintain production efficiency. Requirements

Proven experience in CNC programming, setting and operating. Strong manual CNC programming skills. Proficiency in Mastercam programming software. Sound knowledge of G-codes, M-codes and T-codes. Ability to independently set up CNC machines for production. Ability to adjust cutting speeds, feed rates and cutting depths.

Ability to manufacture precision components according to required specifications. Ability to maintain production quality while minimising machine setup times. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills relating to CNC machining. Key competencies Strong technical and mechanical aptitude. High attention to detail and precision.
