Housekeeper

Housekeeper, Full Time (6:30am - 3:00pm) with occasional weekends At the monastery we are proud of the beautiful home the Sisters of St. Benedict get to live in. As a housekeeper you will have the opportunity to not only keep it clean but also protect the original beauty that is over 150 years old. What you'll do

Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing. Ensure all rooms/areas are cared for and inspected according to standards. Operate, clean and maintain all equipment involved in regular and deep cleaning -- Automatic scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, shampooers, vacuums, suction machine, etc.

Notify supervisor on any damages, deficits and disturbances. Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience. Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. What you bring: High school diploma or GED At least 6 months of related experience Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance Customer-oriented and friendly.
