Job Description: The LifeSavers Gummies (LSG) Processing Operator- Kitchen will safely and efficiently make Gummies slurry to send to the Mogul for the production of LifeSaver Gummies. The LSG Processing Operator- Kitchen is responsible for operating automated and/or manual manufacturing equipment used to produce slurry following the established manufacturing procedures and prescribed formulas with exactness.
They will complete two-hour quality checks while also maintaining production targets in processing. The job exists to fulfil customer requirements for all LifeSaver Gummies. Operators are also responsible for on time and accurate hourly quality checks, escalation for downtime, and maintenance of equipment. What are we looking for?
High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Basic math skills required to calculate ingredients. Pallet jack operation. Participate as a team player in accomplishing all company goals and objectives. Mixing or related experience preferred. Physical requirements: Frequent lifting/carrying of containers (up to 50lbs.)
Frequent bending/kneeling/crouching/twisting Frequent standing What will be your key responsibilities? Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning duties on processing equipment and as well as cleaning up excess ingredients around the processing equipment. Complete frequent observation of work-in-process and the completion of required recording, such as Quality Checks.
Independently operate processing machines and produce a quality gummie product in a team-based environment. This position will be required to cross train in various positions in the processing department. What can you expect from Mars?
