Telesales Associate

Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to generate and convert leads for the Lease-to-Own driver programme through outbound and inbound phone-based engagement with prospective drivers sourced from digital, referral, and partner channels.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation Place outbound calls to leads generated through digital, referral, and partner channels, and handle inbound enquiries promptly. Clearly explain the Lease-to-Own model, lease terms, and benefits to prospective drivers over the phone. Capture and log call outcomes and lead details accurately in the CRM/lead-tracking system.

Qualification & Conversion Support Screen prospective drivers against the eligibility checklist (valid license, ID, Certificate of Good Conduct, KRA PIN, SACCO membership) before referring them for onboarding. Support drivers in gathering and submitting the required documentation. Follow up with leads who have not yet completed the application process.

Reporting & Call Quality Meet daily and weekly call volume and conversion targets set by the Telesales Lead. Report daily on calls made, leads generated, and conversions to the Telesales Lead. Maintain a professional, brand-consistent standard on every call in line with company standards.

Requirements

Minimum of a KCSE Certificate plus a Degree/Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of experience in telesales, call centre, or direct sales, ideally in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Experience within the transport, mobility, or asset-financing sectors will be an added advantage.

Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively and build trust with drivers and stakeholders at grassroots level. Self-motivated and comfortable working to daily call volume and conversion targets. Meticulous in capturing lead and call outcome details accurately.

Ability to work independently while following call scripts and plans set by the Telesales Lead.
