Middle School Assistant Band Director Pool 2026-2027

Job Pool for all individuals interested in applying for Middle School Assistant Band Director positions. Applicants can apply here for current and/or anticipated vacancies. PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist in the direction of the instrumental music program.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Valid Texas teaching certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of overall operations of an instrumental music program Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of state, TMEA, and UIL policies governing band Experience: At least one year of student teaching or approved internship.

SALARY: Teacher Salary + Extra Days
