Material Handler

A Material Handler (pick/pack/ship) performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. 1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday-Friday Duties and Responsibilities Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to: packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for production.

Cut open boxed inventory in the storage area or on the rack. Place open boxes on the appropriate shelf of the flow rack. Walk the length of the flow rack. Wrap cords neatly and securely, ensuring they are tangle-free. Assist with labeling, tagging, or color-coding wrapped cords as needed for easy identification. Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.

Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for documentation purposes. Maintain a clean, organized workstation. Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

and Experience Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability. Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic computer ability. Ability to understand and follow directions.

Preferred Skills

and Experience Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus. Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Clerical skills. Time-management skills. Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands and Working Conditions Warehouse environment. Stand dynamically for long periods. Use hands and fingers to handle and/or feel; the ability to type, pick, pinch with fingers, seize, hold, grasp or turn with hands. Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
